Simply put, the functioning of our system consists of compiling all of the water from the different glass handling machines and storing it in a tank divided into two sections: unfiltered water and filtered water. When unfiltered water is found in the first section of the tank, it is stirred by an agitator, which allows the powder to rise to the surface, thus avoiding sedimentation and then the pump allows the water with powder to enter the pressure cylinder. In that moment, the water passes through the filtration column to which the powder remains attached, which converts this layer of powder into a new supplementary filter. Then the clean water passes through the second section of the tank and is ready to be re-used.
Regularly, when the machine detects a certain build-up of powder, it carries out a process to dry and compress the glass powder, which is eventually expelled as solid, dry and recyclable waste.
This whole cyclical process is fully automatic, it does not require staff and does not cause stoppages in the production line. Furthermore, its operation as a closed water loop, treated with algaecide to maintain optimal quality, avoids potential penalties linked to environmental problems.
